ວາລະສານ Update ສະບັບທີ່ 20 ປີ 2007 ໄດ້ລາຍງານວ່າ:ທາງກະຊວງຖະແຫລງຂ່າວ ແລະ ວັດທະນະທຳ ຮ່ວມກັບ ອົງການທ່ອງທ່ຽວແຫ່ງຊາດ ກຳລັງຈະສ້າງຮູບເງົາ ເພື່ອໂຄສະນາ ການທ່ອງທ່ຽວໃນລາວໃຫ້ຕ່າງຊາດຮັບຮູ້ ເຊິ່ງມີຊື່ເລື່ອງວ່າ " ສະບາຍດີຫລວງພະບາງ " ເຊິ່ງຈະສ້າງໂດຍ ບໍລິສັດລາວອາດມີເດຍ (ບໍ່ມີໂຄສະນາມາສະຫນັບສະຫນູນ) ນັກສະແດງສ່ວນໃຫຍ່ຈະແມ່ນຄົນລາວເອງ ແລະ ອາດຈະມາຈາກ ປະເທດເພື່ອນບ້ານຈໍານວນຫນຶ່ງ, ສະຖານທີ່ຖ່າຍທໍາສ່ວນໃຫຍ່ ຈະແມ່ນແຂວງຫລວງພະບາງ ແລະ ສະຖານທີ່ທ່ອງທ່ຽວສຳຄັນຂອງລາວ, ເຊິ່ງຄາດວ່າຈະເລີ່ມຖ່າຍທຳໃນທ້າຍປີນີ້ ແລະ ໃຫ້ສຳເລັດກ່ອນ ປີໃຫມ່ລາວ 2008.

ທ່ານ ອະນຸສອນ ສິຣິສັກດາ ຜູ້ອໍານວຍການ ບໍລິສັດລາວອາດມີເດຍກ່າວວ່າ " ຮູບເງົາເລື້ອງນີ້ ຈະເປັນເຄື່ອງມືອັນຫນຶ່ງ ເພື່ອໂຄສະນາການທ່ອງທ່ຽວຂອງລາວ ໃຫ້ຕ່າງຊາດໄດ້ຮັບຮູ້, ເຊິ່ງຈະນໍາສະເຫນີຄວາມສວຍງາມຂອງທຳມະຊາດໃນລາວ, ເຜີຍແຜ່ວັດທະນະທຳ ຂະນົບທຳນຽບ ແລະ ຮີດຄອງປະເພນີຂອງຊາດລາວ ໂດຍສະເພາະແມ່ນການຮັກນວນສະຫງວນຕົວ ຂອງແມ່ຍິງລາວໃຫ້ຕ່າງຊາດໄດ້ຮັບຮູ້ "    

ສ່ວນເລື້ອງໂດຍຫຍໍ້ແບບຄ່າວໆ : ກໍ່ຄື ບ່າວລູກຊອດລາວ-ອົດສະຕາລີ (ພໍ່ຄົນລາວ) ໄດ້ກັບມາຢາມບ້ານເກີດຂອງພໍ່ ແລ້ວເກີດມີຄວາມຫລົງໄຫລໃນຄວາມສວຍງາມ ຂອງທຳມະຊາດ ວັດທະນະທຳ ຂະນົບທຳນຽມ ແລະ ຮີດຄອງປະເພນີ ອັນງົດງາມຂອງາລາວ, ແຕ່ສິ່ງທີ່ປະທັບໃຈໄປກວ່ານັ້ນແມ່ນຄວາມງາມໃນນໍ້າໃຈ ຄວາມຮັກນວນສະຫງວນຕົວຂອງ ແມ່ຍິງລາວ ຈົນເຮັດໃຫ້ເຂົາຫລົງໄຫລແລະຕົກຂຸມຮັກສາວທີ່ເມືອງລາວ.
